主攻方向:流域-近海生态环境演变机理、监测、模拟与管理

Mission: Succession, Observation, Simulation, and Management in Watershed-Coastal Ecosystem


研究方向一:近海生态系统与环境演变。针对全球变化和人类活动影响下亚热带近海典型生态系统与环境演变过程与环境效应,聚焦浮游与底栖生态系统的演变及其相关生态环境灾害研究。包括近海浮游生态系统演变机理与环境效应、亚热带底栖生物多样性及其保护利用2个研究重点。

研究方向二:流域-近海生态环境动态监测与预测。针对受人类活动影响剧烈的流域-近海,构建区域生态-环境自动在线监测系统,研发生态模型,开展生态与环境灾害的预警预测。包括流域-近海生态与环境动态监测与信息服务系统、流域-近海生态模型与预警预测技术2个研究重点。

研究方向三:基于生态系统的流域与海岸带管理科学与技术。围绕海岸带社经济以及生态环境可持续管理的国家需求,重点研究技术支撑体系、综合管理体系以及生态修复技术的研究、应用和服务。包括海岸带生态系统可持续管理的技术支撑体系、基于生态系统的流域-海洋综合管理、受损生态系统修复理论与技术3个研究重点。

Scope 1: Coastal Ecosystem Dynamics and Environment

Concerned with the processes and environmental effects of the dynamic subtropical coastal ecosystem and environment and the impact of global climate change and anthropogenic activities, we focus on studies on planktonic and benthic ecosystems and related ecological and environmental disasters. Research highlights include (1) mechanisms and environmental effects of coastal planktonic ecosystems, (2) biodiversity and protection of subtropical benthic ecosystem.

Scope 2:Monitoring and Prediction of Watershed –Coastal Systems

Concerned with the area of watersheds and coastal seas under heavy anthropogenic pressure, this scope is set to establish a regional automatic ecology-environment in situ monitoring network and to develop ecological models to forecast and warn of future ecological and environmental disasters. The scope focuses on long-term observation and information services, and developing sound ecological models to improve prediction and early warning systems.

Scope 3:Ecosystem-based Watershed and Coastal Management

Aimed at meeting national demands on sustainable management of the coastal society and ecosystem, this scope focuses on research, application and service with respect to technologically supported systems, integrated management systems, and ecological remediation technology.
